Odyssea & Octobre Rose/Pink October

Every year, breast cancer affects thousands of women, changing their lives and those of their families. For more than four years now, Showroomprivé has been working with the association Odyssea for the Octobre Rose event, an annual communication campaign aiming to raise awareness about testing for breast cancer and raising money for research.

 Odyssea was set up in 2002 by three women to help fund the fight against breast cancer by organising charity runs throughout France. Since its beginnings, it has succeeded in attracting 985,000 participants. The funds raised from the sale of each race bib go to patients’ support groups and to research institutes in France and in French overseas departments. Over ten years, thanks to a massive turnout by runners for Odysséa Paris, the amount raised already for the Gustave Roussy Institute, the leading centre for cancerology and cancer research in Europe, is nearly 4 million euros. 

For the fourth year running, on its site, Showroomprivé is not only selling the dedicated brand collections with profits going to the association but also the race bibs for this race in solidarity, not forgetting our teams which are participating as well, to run for this great cause.
